Choosing the Right Plug Type

Before ordering, it helps to know which plug type your country uses. If you're not sure, reference World Plugs for details.

Many of our suppliers, like Austin Air, are no longer supplying Type C, because it is outdated. Type F is a good replacement option for Type C in most cases.

Using a Voltage Transformer

Voltage transformers can be an excellent option for products that aren't produced with 220V and customized plugs. There are a few things to be aware of when using a voltage transformer, such as wattage, step-up or step-down, universal plug compatibility, and Hertz.

We highly recommend the DS500 or DS1000 for only $99 extra if you want to use your 110V air purifier with a 220V source. This is an outstanding product that can cover virtually any of our air purifiers.

International Shipping and Ordering Policies

Typically, our customers are solely responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements when shipping outside of the United States. 

Shipping price may vary for international orders and orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. It is best to contact us for a price quote.

Warranties are only valid in North America.

When placing an international order, it is best to call for a number of reasons. Often, a customer service representative will contact you to verify information and to make sure the terms are understood.

1. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs and customs fees.
2. Payment is due at the time of the order.
3. Once an order is placed, it is final, and no changes can be made, including cancellation. Warranties may vary or be voided once the unit is shipped overseas.
4. US Air Purifiers LLC can choose to decline an order if it feels it is not in the best interest of the company.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do all air purifiers ship internationally in 220V? Not all models are available in 220V. Some suppliers, like Amaircare and Field Controls, can build most of their units in 220V, while others, like Airpura, have more restrictions and cannot ship for private use internationally.

What if I don't know my plug type? Reference our plug type guide above to find the standard used in your country, then contact us so we can match you with a supplier who supports it.

Can I use a plug adapter instead of ordering a 220V unit? We don't recommend it, especially for shipments to Great Britain. A properly built 220V unit or a voltage transformer is a safer, more reliable option.

What if the unit I want isn't available in 220V? Our DS500 or DS1000 Voltage Transformer allows a 110V air purifier to run safely on a 220V power source, for an additional $99.
