A TrueHEPA Canister is 99.97% effective to .3 microns. The standard 700 units (non-DLX) are used when the focus is fine particulates and chemicals, VOCs, gases, and odors. The DLX units focus primarily on VOCs, gases, and odors, instead of fine (.3 microns) particulates like a True HEPA canister would filter which is featured in the non-DLX units.

There is a lot of gray area that affects the results such as things that are out of our control like humidity or even the location of the unit.
