For best filtration and the healthiest environment, it is recommended to routinely clean/change your Amaircare filters on a regular basis.
Typically, a unit is run constantly (24*7, 365 days a year) on low to medium. With standard environmental contaminants and usage, it is recommend to change the filters as follows:
Prefilters with Carbon kits - every year (sold in yearly packages for your convenience)
HEPA - 2 years
