The VOC canister will be shipped in a different box than the unit in order to assure the filters aren't damaged in shipping. Therefore, once the unit and VOC canister arrive, some assembly is required.
The Amaircare 3000 VOC Air Purifier can effectively clean the air in a specific room, such as a bedroom, living room or office. The Amaircare 3000 VOC air purifier is also constructed of metal so that it does not emit toxins like some plastic models. Downward slotted vents on the 3000 force settled particles into the air to be captured by the filter.
When used with medical marijuana dispensaries or evidence rooms, depending on the size of the facility, it may be recommended to use 2 or more units to compliment each other.

Quiet and clean air
I am very happy and satisfied with my new Amaircare air purifier. Not only is it very quiet, but very stylish too. I recently had a remodel done in the house with low/no voc products but there was still a lingering faint odor. Not anymore. Within several hours of plugging in this machine, the odor was gone. I leave the machine on a lower setting because my dog loves to sleep in that room looking out the patio doors.....only then for him! Thank you Barb - love my new air cleaner.

I've owned this unit for 10 years, and have found it to be one of the most effective hepa filter I've ever purchased. I've used it in many conditions, including home renovation projects involving a lot of dust. The VOC canister that you can purchase optionally is also very effective, as are the carbon blankets, but less so. Amaircare ships it's VOC filters and canisters in plastic so that the item doesn't degrade prior to use. I mention this only because I also own three Aller Air units, and last time I purchased them, Aller Air shipped it's VOC products unprotected, which makes little sense, as the carbon will begin absorbing odors as soon as it's exposed. Not surprisingly, I have found that Aller Air's VOC products are not nearly as effective as Amaircare's.
