Foobot Introduces Real-Time Mode

When making the decision of what kind of air purifier is best to use in your home, it helps to have all of the information about the existing air at hand. That is why we at US Air Purifiers have always been major proponents of the Foobot home air quality monitor. This device makes it easy to measure the quality of your indoor air and to determine what, if anything, may be wrong with it. Now, Foobot has improved its already excellent monitoring product by updating with two new features to help customers even  more.

Foobot Real-Time Mode

The Foobot unit can easily sync to a smart phone in order to give detailed air quality reports to the user. Now, however, the results shown through the Foobot app will be viewed in live, up-to-date time. This real-time mode allows Foobot users immediately measure the effects of any changes they may make to their environments, such as opening windows or turning on air conditioning units. This feature is also excellent for testing out a new air purifier’s effectiveness, as it can be used to find a baseline measurement of air quality in the home and then monitor improvement as the new air purifier is used over several hours.

Bi-Monthly Pollution Reporting Feature

Also included in Foobot’s latest update is a bi-monthly pollution reporting system. Every two weeks, the Foobot app will give a detailed report complied from averages of the previous two weeks’ data. This report will not only tell users what the average status of their air quality has been, but also what pollutants have made up the largest part of the contaminants in the air. This feature helps users to determine what their most major and consistent air quality problems are, allowing them to target those problems with the right air purification system.

Conclusion

For those who already own the Foobot air quality monitor, these changes will help to make the unit even more useful at no additional cost. Existing Foobots and apps will shortly update with these new features automatically. For those who don’t already have a Foobot system monitoring the quality of the air they breathe, these features are just two more reasons that the system provides an excellent value.
